                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 202 MARKET
                   STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF MARKET
                   STREET AT SECOND STREET FROM R-4 SPECIAL ZONE
                   AND M-1 MANUFACTURING ZONE TO C-3 CENTRAL
                   BUSINESS ZONE, WITHOUT CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 202 Market Street, being
                on the northeast line of Market Street at Second
                Street.  The north 50 feet of lot 8, Market Street,
                Original Town of Chattanooga, not recorded; being
                the property described in deed book 944, page 631,
                R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 135M-A-6.
               
               
         from R-4 Special Zone and M-1 Manufacturing Zone to C-3 Central 

         Business Zone.
        
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
